Fitting in a workout routine can be tough with a busy schedule, but research shows time and time again that exercise is crucial to improving energy levels and alertness. I love to go to group fitness classes, it motivates me to push myself and take my fitness to the next level. Below is a list of Winter 2016: Top 5 Fitness Classes in Boston:

1. Handlebar

2. CorePower Yoga

3. Community Rowing, Inc.

4. BTone Fitness

5. MyStryde Indoor Running Studio

Read more about the specific classes at these studios in this blog post!

1. Handlebar

Winter 2016: Top 5 Fitness Classes in Boston.jpgHandlebar is a full service spin studio with a variety of classes. My personal favorite is the class with Rachel on Sunday mornings, her playlists get the house rockin and her energy will get you to push yourself to the next level.

2. CorePower Yoga

CorePower offers four different yoga classes, ranging from a beginner level warm class to several different hot classes. If you're looking for a unqiue, hot yoga/cardio/weight combo, check out yoga sculpt with Erika

3. Community Rowing, Inc.

No previous rowing experience needed, this full-body workout will get you moving! Weekday classes both in the morning and evening.

4. BTone Fitness

With five locations in the Greater Boston area, BTone is somewhere near you. I love BTone because it is extremely low impact but very effective. Their special Megaformer machine is tesigned to tone and strengthen your muscles, but instructors sneak a little cardio into each class too!

 5. MyStryde Indoor Running Studio

I haven't had a chance to check out this one-of-a-kind indoor running studio yet, but have heard good reviews. Start your training for spring races by working out with like-minded individuals! Classes are for all levels of fitness including walkers and advanced runners.
